Bob Burg's Interview with Dondi Scumaci - Intent, Consistency, and Authenticity vs. Transparency
Our always hugely popular guest, and one of my most valued friends and mentors, Dondi Scumaci is back for another brief discussion; this time on three quick topics where she provides her usual wisdom-filled, insightful guidance and teaching.
Dondi and I discuss:
- The importance of communicating with intent to educate and add value as opposed to being controversial *simply* for the sake of being controversial.
- The value of consistency, not just of the producer, but of those leading the organization. More than being consistent *simply* for the sake of being consistent, it's important to be consistent correctly and in a way that rewards value from others rather than punishing it. Fascinating insight!
- Why "Authenticity" and "Transparency"...while related, are *not* the same. Why transparency is not always proper in every situation (though authenticity is) and why we should not be transparent *simply* for the sake of being transparent.
Invest 15 minutes with Dondi and me. You'll see why this internationally-known speaker on leadership and author of "Career Moves" is one of my favorite teachers! :-)
